Event Rental Pricing & FAQs

Is professional photography allowed on the grounds?Yes! The grounds are open to the public, where photography is permitted. Please see our rules and restrictions for more details.

May I hold a wedding ceremony or event at Concord Point Lighthouse?Yes, the grounds of the Lighthouse may be reserved for wedding ceremonies and other private events. Learn more about event rentals.

Does the lighthouse still work?Yes, the Lighthouse shines nightly with the 5th Order Fresnel Lens and 100 watt bulb.

Are visitors allowed into the lighthouse?Yes, visitors can climb to the lantern room if they are at least 42 inches tall during our Hours of Operations. Private tours can also be scheduled.

Is the Lighthouse haunted?No paranormal activity has been experienced by current members of the Friends. However, a visitor last summer reported her grandfather refuses to enter the lighthouse, claiming a spooky experience many years ago when he was doing maintenance work on it.

What is the Rental Availability for the Lighthouse?The Lighthouse is avilable for private rentals on Saturdays from 2-6 PM and 6-10 PM, and Sundays 9 AM-1 PM and 5-9 PM on a first come, first-served basis. Please contact us to inquire about weekday rental options or to reserve your specific date.

What Area is Able to Be Rented for my Event?The Lighthouse grounds may be reserved for events, ceremonies, etc. This is the area around and in front of the Lighthouse. While reservations guarantees you access to this area, please note that Concord Point Park is a public area.

How Much Does it Cost to Reserve the Lighthouse?We request a tax-deductible donation of $350 for a 2-hour event; note that rental for a 2-hour event also includes one hour for setup prior to the event and one hour for tear down/cleanup afterwards.

Are there Blackout Dates?Events cannot take place during Open Hours (Sunday, 1-5 PM & Saturday 10-2 PM April – October) or on any dates where other events are already booked.

Will the Lighthouse itself be Open During my Event?No, the Lighthouse itself will be closed during events rentals.

Can I Put Up Decorations?Decorations must be removed immediately following the event. No artificial flowers or rice.
